Started off from the Minffordd path in the pouring rain. Was soaked by the time I got to Llyn Cau, but found a couple of geocaches and then headed on up into the murk along the Minffordd path. I quite like being on the hill in such weather as you can't see anything so it feels as though you are walking along a narrow ridge even when you aren't and navigating is fun too.

Cache number three was on the summit of Craig Amarch then I went on up to the summit of Cadair before heading off along the Pony Path to the summit of Cyfrwy and another cache. The clouds cleared briefly here and I had a view down to the mawddach, but they soon closed in again. I then cut off the corner on my way back to the Minffordd path, past some impressive pillow lavas before descending the way I had come. up.

A nice day in the hills.
